Hot Milk Punch (basic)

    Whiskey
  • 1
    cup
    Milk
  • 1
    Whole
    Egg
  • 1
    tsp
    Simple Syrup
  • Pinch
    Nutmeg

Heat all ingredients, except spice, in a saucepan over low heat, stirring regularly to make certain milk does not scorch. When piping hot, pour into a heat-proof mug that has been rinsed in boiling water and top with nutmeeg or spice of your choice.
